The SPOTS light and media façade on Potsdamer Platz has entered its last round. After 18 solid months of art in a public space, the popular project now begins its concluding programme. A cross section of the past ten showings will be presented through March 31st, 2007 under the heading »Most of SPOTS« – after which the installation on the building at Potsdamer Platz 10 will be dismantled.

A Medley of Great Faces, Rock ’n’ Roll and Sensors
Each day, a different artist will display his work from the break of day until midnight. Exhibitors include the renowned British director Terry Gilliam, who will present his »past people of Potsdamer Platz« installation once more, and Jim Campbell, one of America’s foremost media artists, who will transform the façade on Potsdamer Platz into a projection screen for his »Gait Studies in Low Resolution.« The figurative sequences developed by Campbell represent people caught in various movements and situations.

Apart from Terry Gilliam and Jim Campbell’s work, displays by Nina Fischer and Maroan El Sani, Jonathan Monk, Prof. Dr. Frieder Nake, realities:united and John deKron, fettFilm, Timm Ringewaldt, Ruth Schnell and Stublic, Mader, Wiermann will also be shown.

From midnight to 7 a.m. each night, the façade will display »Sensor,« a work by Carsten Nicolai.
