»City Gaze« – 24.11. 2005 - 26. 02. 2006

‘City Gaze’ is a thematic exhibition comprising multiple stages. It engages with the possibility that the city with its buildings, infrastructure and media can itself become a seeing object. And so Potsdamer Platz 10 – part of the Park Kolonnaden complex owned by HVB Immobilien AG – is to be adorned with a communicative membrane that will transform the building into a form of open-air gallery. The exhibition is being curated by Dr. Andreas Broeckmann. Since 2000 Broeckmann has been the artistic director of the transmediale, the biggest and most significant festival for art and the creative usage of digital media in Germany.
